CER: Klassic Kruz & Swap Meet

The 49th State Street Rodders Klassic Kruz & Swap Meet is certainly a “classic” in the Alaska motorsport scene. It is a carryover from the KOOL Classic, a promotion by a local radio station that was held for many years. They invite you to Kruz from the Eagle River Fred Meyer to Alaska Raceway Park, where you can show your vehicle and attend the Swap Meet.

Meet up at the Fred Meyer store in Eagle River’s parking lot around 10:30 and cruise out to Alaska Raceway Park for the Car Show. You should leave Fred Meyer around 11:00 a.m. If you don’t want to cruise but just show your vehicle and attend the Swap Meet, the car show starts at Noon and runs to 4:00 p.m. The food truck will be Exquisite Urban Taste, serving their delicious food.

Admission and participation in the 49th State Street Rodders Car Shows are always Free, but you must register your vehicle if you are in the lot and be present to win a trophy. So, start cleaning out those parts you want to part with and bring them to the Swap Meet. Oh! And bring cash to take some new ones home with you, too!
