INT: Yukon 800 Riverboat Race
June 17, 2023 – June 18, 2023
Run on the Tanana and Yukon Rivers, traveling hundreds of miles of the vast Alaskan wilderness. The Yukon 800 is billed as the longest, roughest, and toughest speed boat race in the world and the Fairbanks Outboard Association’s most well-known race. Competitors build the low-slung 24-foot-long boats from scratch. These race boats are powered by 50 horsepower regulation engines that reach speeds over 70 miles per hour.
